The projects had no title and required name generation reflecting the ‘no-nonsense’ nature of the highly effective products.
The new name, brand and identity was to be applied to all aspects of the business including packaging design, promotional literature, signage, vehicle livery, website and advertising.
Dynamite Baits was a clear favourite in all focus groups and the identity, most often seen in product packaging was intended to be unlike anything else that existed in its busy, highly competitive market.
Traditionally products in this area were marketed and based on the concept of ‘Grandad’s secret family recipe’, the approach taken by the Dynamite was far more radical and based itself on the main brand values of modern, scientific and highly effective.
The designs are intended to reflect this and in the context of shelve space and store presence the ‘new kids on the block’ Dynamite took the industry by storm and became market leaders inside 18 months and are considered the industry innovators.
